Minesweeper Reinvented

This is a recreation of the Windows 98 Minesweeper, but just more modernized and over-engineered. Create your own custom boards (the size & bomb amount) and whenever you finish that board, it gets saved onto your own personal leaderboard.

!IMPORTANT! - DATA DOES NOT SAVE IN THE BROWSER VERSION AND I'M TOO LAZY TO MAKE THE WINDOW SIZING WORK CORRECTLY. SO FOR NOW THERE'S NO WEB.HTML FOR THE GAME.

How to play Minesweeper

In Minesweeper, you click squares on a grid to reveal numbers that tell you how many mines are touching/surrounding that square (including diagonals) and your goal is to uncover every safe square without clicking on a mine. Use the numbers to figure out where mines are and flag those squares so you can avoid them.

Controls 

Left mouse button - uncover a square

Right mouse button - flag a square

Generating a new board - click on Mr. Smiley at the top

Creating a custom board - settings button -> Custom...

Your highscore leaderboard - Light bulb icon
